I'm thrilled to announce my first solo art exhibition, Throughlines, brought to you at the Acton Memorial Library.

I started drawing again in 2019 and now, seven years later, I've developed a defined pen and ink practice and amassed a portfolio of over 50 finished pieces. This show is intentionally staged chronologically to show the progress in my work over that time. I hope you enjoy.

Throughlines brings together 34 drawings created over the last seven years, mapping the evolution of Kat Desy’s intricate pen-and-ink practice. Beginning with intuitive mark-making and expanding into densely layered geometric structures, the work explores rhythm, repetition, movement, and the tension between control and spontaneity. Viewed together, the pieces reveal not only changing forms and complexity, but an ongoing process of growth, meditation, and discovery.
